Today’s tip to reduce stress:
Find a quiet spot. Sit comfortably on a cushion or chair. Close your eyes. Unhinge your jaw. Release your shoulders down your spine.
As you breathe in, say to yourself “I am breathing in the present moment.”
As you breathe out, say to yourself “I breathe out and relax.”
Stay with this for 5 minutes. 10 minutes if you can. As your mind wanders, which is normal, gently guide it back to repeating “I breathe in the present moment. I breathe out and relax.”
Rinse and repeat as often as necessary.
