My new 5 week online yoga nidra meditation series starts this Wednesday, April 1, 2020. This is a weekly class, every Wednesday through April 29. Time: 7:00-7:30PM EST.
🥰 Each class will start with settling into your rest nest. Once you are settled, we’ll transition to the divine rest of yoga nidra mediation.
🕉 This class is focused on improving sleep, reducing stress, worry, anxiety, and tension. Yoga nidra meditation increases your feel good hormones, aids in “rest and digest” and improves your sense of well-being and wholeness.
🧘♀️ We begin by releasing any wiggles and completely relaxing the body.
🧘♀️ We move into awareness, becoming aware of our physical body.
🧘♀️ We transition into awareness of breath, our energy body.
🧘♀️ We leave the energy body and move into the emotional body by exploring opposites.
🧘♀️ From the emotional body we move into the intellectual body through visualization of universal symbols.
🧘♀️ We then journey into the bliss body, resting in the 4th state of consciousness.
🧘♀️ Slowly we return to breath and our physical bodies.
🕉 This class is for all levels, including beginners. Flexibility is not a requirement. If you can lie down, you can do yoga nidra.
🕉 Suggested props for your yoga nidra rest nest: blanket, bolster or pillow, hand towel to cover your eyes.
